What should I pack for the retreat?
Depending on the location and activities, key essentials typically include comfortable clothing suitable for exploring, yoga and meditation, sportswear for pilates and movement, walking boots/trainers, swimwear for spa facilities, sunscreen, a book to dive into, insect repellent (if outdoors), a reusable water bottle, and any personal toiletries or medications.
Are there any prerequisites or fitness levels required to participate?
Solstice wellness retreats cater to individuals of all fitness levels and backgrounds. However, some activities may have variations suitable for different abilities. It's advisable to check with our retreat planners if you have specific concerns about your fitness level or mobility. Also please check with your doctor first for your own peace of mind if you are aware of any existing injuries so that you're able to fully enjoy your retreat experience. And although we would love to see you in all our fitness sessions, we completely understand if you want to take a bit of extra time off to explore and enjoy our beautiful locations.
What kind of dietary options are available?
Our wellness retreats offer nourishing and balanced meals that cater to various dietary preferences and restrictions. Food will be plant focused with vegan, gluten-free, allergen and dairy-free options on request. You must inform our retreat planners of any dietary requirements in advance.
What types of wellness activities are offered, and how are they scheduled?
Each retreat is specifically tailored to offer guests a unique experience. Activities often include yoga, pilates, meditation, mindfulness practices, hiking, workshops. Retreat schedules typically balance structured activities with free time for relaxation and exploration. There may also be options for additional activities at a supplement such as spa treatments or tours to local cities and nature spots.
Is there Wi-Fi and mobile phone reception?
While some retreats encourage disconnecting from technology to enhance relaxation and mindfulness, others may provide limited Wi-Fi access. Mobile phone reception can vary depending on the location, so it's wise to inquire beforehand.
Can I attend the retreat alone, or is it better to come with a partner or friend?
Many participants attend wellness retreats solo to focus on their personal well-being and connect with like-minded individuals. However, we do offer special rates for pairs or groups. Whether alone or with company, the experience can be enriching and transformative. We might all arrive as strangers, but we’ll be leaving as family.

Is there transportation provided to and from the retreat location?
We want to make your journey to and from the retreat venue as easy as possible. We will provide all the information you need to help you arrange travel to each destination and offer group transfers where possible. You are responsible for booking your own flights. Each trip will have suggested arrival and departure details based on when we know you need to be in the airport and you can always send us the itinerary before booking if you want to double check it’s correct.
